About

I’m a DC native, currently living in Glover Park, right in between National Cathedral and Georgetown.  I’m engaged to my fiance, Patrick.  We’re the owners of an “energetic” (seriously insane) Scottish Terrier, Horatio, and soon to be the parents of Clover, the daschund.

I work in publishing.  My darling husband-to-be is a professional geek.  Horatio… is trying to take over the world, one piece of kibble at a time.

My dream job would be a job with WETA, the local DC public television station.  Seriously, I watch their programming like it’s my job.

After a few false starts at school, I’m finally finishing up my undergraduate degree in Communications.  (How anyone chose what they wanted to do with their life at 18 years old, I don’t know.)  After which, I plan to pursue my Masters in History at American University.  I love writing, reading, bad karaoke, cooking, US History (post-1865), shopping, wine, photography, and tons of other stuff.

I don’t write about anything profound.  I’m a mid-to-late 20-something, just making it day to day.  Sometimes I’m trying to find some sort of deep meaning within my life… other days I’m just enumerating the virtues of wine, purses, or whatever.  This is merely my little space to share.

I am a freelance photographer. You can find my photography samples, pricing, and contact information at ElizabethSaysPhotography.com.  In addition, for all your wedding planning needs, you can find me under the nickname “Miss JeffMemorial” at DCNearlyweds.com.
